About this event

This hike is strenuous and involves hiking steep trails over small boulders for 3.2 miles with 800ft of elevation gain. To help with the elevation the group will make frequent stops to talk about plants, animals and local history. All hikers need to bring water, a flashlight, and sturdy shoes. Hiking poles can be very helpful especially with the elevation gain and uneven trail. The trailhead has both a bathroom and water fountain.
