About this event

She Serves in the Southwest

Empowering Women. Keeping Girls in Sports.

Women coaches do more than teach a sport. They inspire confidence, create opportunities, serve as role models, and help shape the future of racquet sports. Yet, there is still work to be done to ensure women have the support, encouragement, and opportunities they deserve to succeed in coaching.

Women Coaching Racquet Sports (WCRS) invites you to join us for She Serves in the Southwest , a special event dedicated to conversations that are at the heart of our mission.

Led by Bunny Bruning, RSPA Master Professional and WCRS President , and Leslie Banks, RSPA Elite Professional and WCRS Board Member , this event will explore the importance of women coaches, the challenges they face, and how we can work together to empower more women to enter, grow, and thrive in the racquet sports profession.

We will focus on the power of mentorship, creating a sense of belonging, building stronger pathways for women coaches, and recognizing the important role women play in keeping girls engaged in sports.

Whether you are an experienced coach, just beginning your coaching journey, or someone who believes in creating more opportunities for women in sports, we invite you to be part of the conversation.

And because building relationships matters, there will be time to connect, share ideas, enjoy lunch, and take home some WCRS swag!
