Chandler Children’s Choir is expanding its offerings with the new San Tan Children’s Choir, which will provide vocal education to young singers in Queen Creek and San Tan Valley. Rehearsals will begin Tuesday evenings in August at Newell Barney Jr. High + experienced educators Cecelia Burnett and Emali Mollenhauer will direct the program.
EVIT is delaying renovations at its main campus to cover roughly $2 million in bus costs for high school students next year after a funding dispute with nine local school districts, including Queen Creek. The move redirects funds from planned improvements to support student transportation.
