The Queen Creek Police Department is expanding and has signed an intergovernmental agreement with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office to train new police recruits at the MCSO academy—this program will begin soon to enhance local law enforcement.

Valley resident Kelly Mills—active on Instagram—founded AZ Outdoorsy Duo after rescuing her potcake pup Khai and now shares her outdoor hikes and adventures to inspire dog-friendly activities.
She also launched Hikes4Rescues to support animal rescue groups and will take on Humphrey’s Peak in June.
