- ➤ Queen Creek Olive Mill will host its annual Olive Blossom Celebration on April 12 and April 13 — featuring live music, local vendors, cooking demonstrations, tractor-led farm tours and food from Di Olivia Italian Bistro & Bar at the Mill’s outdoor kitchen. The free event will run from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday at 25062 S. Meridian Road. Queen Creek Sun Times
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Arizona regulators approved a rate increase for Southwest Gas on March 27th that will raise an average home's bill by about $3.60 a month—a 7.5% jump that takes effect immediately. The commission reduced the utility's request from $126 million to $80 million and asked Southwest Gas to develop a plan to shift more customers to a low-income rate class. AZ Family
