- ➤ Yesterday, the Arizona Commerce Authority and partners opened the Future48 Workforce Accelerator at Central Arizona College’s Superstition Mountain Campus in Apache Junction — a 19,850-square-foot training center for future battery professionals — in a ceremony with local leaders. The facility will train workers for LG Energy Solution’s Queen Creek plant and help create 1,500 new jobs by 2027 — a boost that supports the growing battery manufacturing industry. Pinal County
