- ➤ In April, Queen Creek Fire & Medical Department crewmembers from engine 413 and medic 413 saved a young man by flying him to Phoenix Children's Hospital when he faced life-threatening injuries. On May 30, he visited Fire Station 3 to thank the team and ask questions about the equipment they use (he has always wanted to be a firefighter). Queen Creek Independent

- ➤ The Queen Creek Town Council will approve a lower property tax rate for homeowners as the town enters its third year of a property tax freeze—lowering costs for residents under a long-standing policy. - ➤ Organ Stop Pizza will host a Father's Day Musical Luncheon on Sunday, June 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.—doors open at 11:15 a.m. and the Mighty Wurlitzer performance begins at 11:45 a.m. Adults pay $20 and children 9 and under pay $15 for an all-you-can-eat pizza buffet, salad and unlimited soft drinks, with advance tickets required.
