EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Queen Creek Unified School District board approved nearly $121 million for the 2025-26 school year in a unanimous vote at its Tuesday meeting—this budget will be used to run and maintain schools in the coming year. Queen Creek Independent
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Queen Creek released its 2024 water quality report showing that drinking water met health standards and is proposing a 15% water rate increase for system improvements after more than 15 years. The new rates, which could add about $3 to $6 a month for most residents, will be considered at the July 16 Town Council meeting & take effect Aug. 27 if approved. Queen Creek Sun Times
