- ➤ Queen Creek Unified School District welcomed over 130 new teachers for the 2025-26 school year, adding both experienced educators and newcomers at Frances Brandon-Pickett Elementary, Mountain Trail Academy and Eastmark High School. Teachers such as Allyson Miller, Ariana Alford and coach Glen Ellis will help shape new programs + drive student success across the district. Queen Creek Independent
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ On June 16, the Queen Creek Town Council recommended that Zara Nail Bar at 20590 S Signal Butte Road, Suite 102 be allowed a state Series 7 Beer & Wine Bar liquor license—this license lets the business sell beer and wine by the glass for use on or off the premises—and the license request was posted for 20 days with no public comments. - ➤ ADOT warned that scammers used its Motor Vehicle Division logo in text messages claiming unpaid traffic citations, and the messages show poor grammar and are from overseas—residents are urged to delete any suspicious texts. AZ Family
