Today, while authorities await a final decision on a proposal to cut Colorado River water by 760,000 acre-feet over two years, Queen Creek’s Utilities Director Marc Skocypec said the town’s investments in stored Harquahala water and conservation protect its supply since only about (10%) comes from the river.
