- ➤ This October, The Wreckoning haunted attraction will return for its fifth year at Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek and feature a 'Sonoran Shadows' theme that draws on local lore — including stories of desert cryptids and haunted landmarks. It will run every Thursday through Sunday at 24810 S. Rittenhouse Road as part of the Pumpkin & Chili Party Festival while local high school students perform live roles — linking the event to community talent. Queen Creek Independent
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Queen Creek Town Council will consider annexing more than 4 acres of land at the southwest corner of Signal Butte and Riggs roads today so a new church can be developed—if needed, a council member may pull the item from the consent agenda for separate discussion and vote. - ➤ The Queen Creek Town Council will vote on a proposal for a 65-foot wireless communication tower near South Crismon and East Ocotillo roads that will serve three mobile carriers. Young Design/Tilson Infrastructure will build and operate the tower at a site about 1,200 feet southeast of the intersection in the Ameripark RV Storage facility. Queen Creek Independent
