Over the next few months, Queen Creek will move its town dog park from Pocket Park for Pups near town hall to Founders’ Park—where a new police headquarters is being built—to give residents a larger park that doubles in size and features mirror cells for alternate watering days.

Developer Vestar announced a multibillion dollar, 200-acre mixed-use project called Legacy Park that will add upscale retail, residences, a hotel, offices and a large park near Queen Creek and Gilbert in Mesa.

The project will break ground in 2027 and is expected to bring jobs—boosting local economic growth in the East Valley.
