The Horseshoe Harvest Hangout will be held Oct.

4-5 at Horseshoe Park — Equestrian Centre on E. Riggs Road and will feature live music, pro bull riding, hot air balloon rides, hay rides, and other activities for families. General admission is free and the event will offer outdoor fun as the cooler weather returns.

Schnepf Farms will host the annual Pumpkin & Chili Party throughout October—offering family fun with a pumpkin patch, corn maze, rides, games, live entertainment, fireworks, and chili.

The event will run every Thursday through Sunday until Oct. 31 at 24810 S. Rittenhouse Road.

EVIT partnered with the Alliance of Battery Equipment Contractors to launch a paid apprenticeship program for LG Energy Solution’s battery construction project in Queen Creek—five companies will host apprentices in electrical, plumbing, and metal fabrication.

The program will build a skilled local workforce for the multi-year project.
