Queen Creek campus pastor Curt McReynolds was named September's Hometown Hero—he left Corporate America to serve the community at Christ’s Church of the Valley after moving from Illinois in 2017.

Queen Creek announced it will host a town-sponsored Halloween event — the Not So Spooky Halloween Party — on Oct 25 at the Recreation & Aquatic Center after cancelling last year's Trunk or Treat due to large crowds.

The town will return to Halloween festivities following its switch to a Christmas parade last year.
