Central Arizona College’s San Tan Fall Festival will take place on Saturday, Oct.
11 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the San Tan Campus on 3736 E. Bella Vista Road—offering free, family-friendly activities including interactive science lab experiments, a haunted hallway from the honor society, trick-or-treating, music, games, vendors, local food trucks, and costume contests.
Family-owned Ono Hawaiian BBQ opened its second location in Queen Creek Crossing (a new site) with a double drive-thru to serve meals faster.
The restaurant will host a grand opening celebration with Hawaiian dancers, a ribbon cutting and a Buy One Get One Free deal in-store to mark the event.
Applications for Queen Creek Schools Education Foundation scholarships are now open and will help students plan their next steps; the foundation awarded $81,000 last school year and students should talk with their school college & career advisor before the deadline on March 23.
The program partners with local businesses to support education and teacher advancement.
ROXX Vodka and POMO Pizzeria Napoletana will host an espresso martini making class on Tuesday, September 30 at 7 p.m.—the event offers a chance to learn how to blend classic flavors.
