ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A fire drill at Queen Creek Junior High on Monday led to bee stings during the outdoor drill — four students were treated and no serious injuries were reported among about 40 students and staff. Queen Creek Independent
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Maricopa County Attorney's Office, partnering with Chandler Unified School District and the Queen Creek Police Department, will host a free Shred-A-Thon event on Saturday, Nov. 22 at Auxier Elementary School—22700 S. Power Road, Queen Creek from 8 a.m.—11 a.m. Residents will be able to bring up to five boxes of documents per vehicle to protect personal information and combat identity theft. - ➤ Shopping center owner Vestar announced that Queen Creek Crossing — a 31-acre retail center anchored by Costco and spanning over 400,000 square feet — is now 100% leased.
