Busy Bees Heritage Square opened its child care center in Queen Creek at 21467 S.

Ellsworth Road on June 9 and held its ribbon cutting on July 16 with Mayor Julia Wheatley and local leaders present—featuring its BeeCurrious Curriculum for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years and a donation to CDT Kids. The new center aims to offer a nurturing learning environment for local families.

The Queen Creek Police Department received a 50,000-dollar grant from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway to help reduce juvenile DUI drug arrests.

Classes are back in session today for Queen Creek Unified School District and QCPD has urged drivers to follow designated drop-off and pick-up zones, parking rules, and to stay alert near crosswalks — motorists are asked to be patient as traffic delays are expected during the first weeks of school.
